Diploma in Waste Management Technologies
The Diploma in E-Waste Management is a pioneering 4-year program offered by NorthSha’ar Technical College that addresses the growing environmental and health concerns caused by electronic waste (e-waste). As Malawi and the African continent experience increased use of electronics, managing the disposal and recycling of end-of-life electronic products has become a national priority.
This program equips students with scientific, technical, and policy knowledge in the collection, segregation, dismantling, recycling, reuse, and safe disposal of electronic waste. Graduates will be prepared to lead sustainable initiatives in e-waste management across industries, government, NGOs, and recycling enterprises.
